STRANGE LOOKS
2002. Shortfilm
Short-lenght fiction film, 20min, color, DVcam, shot in Barcelona.
The short film Strange Looks aims to portray the daily intimacy of a neighborhood through the experiences of a group of teenagers.
The script was written in collaboration with a group of teenagers from the Carmel neighborhood of Barcelona, who have written fiction (almost a thriller) to be able to talk about themselves with greater freedom. They also knew that they were going to be the interpreters of the film. The shooting showed the potential of these creative strategies, both to show the life of the characters/writers and to portray the daily intimacy of a neighborhood.
